ENTREPRENEURSHIP POLICY STATEMENT

For Istanbul Bilgi University, entrepreneurship is an integral part of the University’s academic identity and its mission of social contribution. The Entrepreneurship Area of Excellence at Bilgi University defines entrepreneurship as the capability to recognize opportunities at an early stage, create value under conditions of uncertainty, and generate innovation with a strong sense of social responsibility.
As the Bilgi Entrepreneurship Area of Excellence, we do not limit entrepreneurship to the act of founding companies; rather, we approach it as a mode of thinking and producing that permeates all educational, research, and practical processes.
Within this framework, as the Entrepreneurship Area of Excellence, we commit to:

• Working to integrate entrepreneurship and innovation into educational processes across all disciplines,
• Supporting the entrepreneurial journeys of students, academics, and alumni,
